The Best Realist, Ultra-Realistic and Photo-Realistic Art

By "best" I mean the best works of art that I have
seen, experienced and been moved by myself. I don't find pictures of salt
shakers and ketchup bottles particularly moving, so you won't find them here.
Nor do I claim to have seen anything more than a small fraction of the art
that's out there, so if I have left deserving artists out, which I'm sure I
have, please chalk it up to the fact that I have to work, sleep, etc. These are just my personal
favorites, really, but I imagine other people may find them as attractive and
moving as I have. Also, I find the correspondences between the newer and older
masterpieces fascinating, and suspect that you may also ...
